What is Smart City Expo World Congress?
The event consists of a 3-day congress and expo and has become the annual meeting point for corporate leaders, public representatives, entrepreneurs, experts, and academics from all around the globe, encouraging them to learn from each other, share experiences, talk about best practices, and open new paths for international collaboration. In parallel, there will be a digital program broadcast by Tomorrow.City to extend our reach and strengthen our crossplatform approach.
When will Smart City Expo World Congress take place?

SCEWC23 will be held in Barcelona, Spain. The venue is Fira Barcelona – GranVia.
What can I expect from the event?
SCEWC will grant you a vast range of possibilities in front of 25,000+ international attendees: great sector insights focused on solution implementation, business development, lead acquisition, networking, and many more activities.

I am already registered, how can I access the venue?
In order to access the venue you will have to present your Digital Voucher, which you can find on the official event’s app. Once you arrive at the venue, it will be scanned and you’ll receive your printed badge at the entrance.
I would like to speak at the event, can I submit an application?
The 2023 Call for Speakers is now closed. If you’re interested in speaking at #SCEWC23, you can still do it by:
A) Becoming an official Partner. Ensure a congress spot and gain maximum awareness for your brand.
B) Hosting your own session in an Agora or Conference Center. Call for Breakout Sessions is open until July, 20.
Do you have any travel agencies that can help prepare my trip to the event?
As a visitor or exhibitor of Smart City Expo World Congress, you’re entitled to exclusive discounts giving you special prices on accommodation and
transport around the city.

What is your refund policy?
As a general rule, once the registration fee has been paid it cannot be refunded. For any further questions please contact us at: infofira@firabarcelona.com.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Please contact us at: infofira@firabarcelona.com and we will review thoroughly your case.
Can I upgrade my pass?
Yes, if you have a Visitor Pass you can go to your Visitor Area and upgrade your pass at anytime.
When is the latest I can purchase tickets online?
Do you have any discounts available?
We offer different group discounts: 10% for purchases of 5 to 10 passes, and 20% for more than 10. Please go to the Passes & Prices page for further information.
We also provide students with a 50% discount in their pass purchases. You can also check all the process information on the Passes & Prices page.
We also hold promotions on some special occasions. If you want to be kept in the loop and get exclusive and limited-time promos, subscribe to our newsletter.
I am a student, can I benefit from any discount?

What participation options do I have?
As an exhibitor, do I receive any invitations or discount codes to distribute among my network?
If you are already an exhibitor, you can find this information in the Exhibitor Area. If that’s not your situation, we will be happy to discuss exhibiting opportunities and benefits included such as types of passes, among others.

If you want to organize your own session within the SCEWC23 program or hold a corporate meeting alongside the event, please stay tuned until we announce how you can do it.

When do assembly and dismantling take place? Does the assembly team need a special pass to access the venue?
Assembly opening hours:
- 2 – 5 November: 8 am – 8 pm
- 6 November: 8 am – 10 pm
Dismantling:
- 9 November: 5:30 pm – 10 pm (*with no vehicles)
- 10 – 11 November: 8 am – 8 pm
All assembly staff will need a Contractor Pass, a personal and nontransferable pass that will give access during assembly and disassembly periods (not during the event celebration). Members of the assembly team will have to request their Contractor pass. The Organization will review the application and shall approve or deny it.
As an exhibitor, where can I consult all information regarding my participation?
